I am trying to get a 32 meg flash drive loaded with Linux I need it for
clustering I have failed miserably with updating to the 2.4.18 kernel I
read the how-to that was posted. It did not come close to working. I was
hoping someone would have some sort of hints on what I could do or if
there is a version of mpi that would work with the 2.2 kernel.

What I did was build my kernel 2.4.18 kernel to load into ram disk and
manually unpacked the rpm's from the redhat distro that I needed and put
them in the appropriate places and then I took my newly created file
system and put it in project/$ver/mnt/ and then pushed the image with
./pwlconfig
I always get unable to mount root fs
