Perhaps I'm not including all the relevant packages? What packages did you select in order to get it to work? These are the packages I used: XFree86 XFree86-100dpi-fonts, XFree86-75dpi-fonts XFree86-FBDev XFree86-libs XFree86-stuff, XFree86-twm XFree86-xdm XFree86-xfs xpm Those are correct packages. have you also included the X libraries? If you are trying to make it work using startx thats different.
