[Peeweelinux] boot problem

hello,
I tried out a small linux from scratch for a pc/104. Everything works fine on the host but definitly doesn't on the embedded system. I have an ide adapter for a pc-card. Lilo wouldn't install on the flash so I tried syslinux and loadlin by using a small fat filesystem at the beginning of the flash pc card. At boot time, the kernel is uncompressed but then the system just reboots. I can't figure out what to do...
Any idea about that??
