[Peeweelinux] Continued boot problems - CompactflashCorruption?

I have some new information:

I tried building the CF filesystem using peewee
on another slackware 8.0 system, same USB reader, 
same kernel, different HW.  It WORKS!  (Keep in mind
here that I'm not building packages, just generating the
filesystem using the scripts).

I'm not sure where the problem is being introduced, but
with all of the software the same, but different MB/CPU/USB
hardware, it's working.
