Were *I* going to undertake the task, my method would be to take a 
recent distro (RH9? FC2?) and basically start over. It seems rather 
fruitless to waste time recompiling ever PWL app against a newer glibc, 
when you could just extract all the binaries from RPMs that are already 
done.

In essance, just replacing all binary bits of the RH62 PWL with RH9 
(sic) bits, and run with it. You'd get a nice 2.4 kernel along the way 
as well. ;)
