ive managed to build a peeweelinux project (based on minimal).
it was very easy to get the initial stages done, esp. as im using the
r/w hard disk (testing) right now.

im stumbling on a few thing now however.

first, is im attempting to get it to boot straight into single-user
mode and launch an application (i.e. no login). ive edited the
inittab file and set the run-level to (1). is there more i need to
do?

also, im trying to build a custom kernel but its failing. my development
system is redhat7.2, and im fairly certain ive seen some emails
regarding this. im looking through the archives currently, but i
keep getting distracted w/other useful tid-bits of information.
if anyone has notes on what they did to use redhat7.2 to build
a custom kernel i would definitely appreciate a look at them.

thanks!
